Changes to your study program
Hi everybody! So, today I am going to write
about the curriculum of my career. This is my second year of social work in the
university, and at this time I enjoyed every class I’ve had. Now, I think it is
really common that the universities have a lot of courses, and many times the
students have classes almost 9 hours a day, I am really sure that maybe one of
that courses don’t even have something to do with our careers.
In my case, I think that we won’t be prepared to work with
people with a long list of problems, so maybe we need that practice in some
semester. In other hand, I think that some of our classes are really utopian
about social work, knowing that not everybody is going to be a doctor in social
work or an expert. Some of my classmates just want to be social workers and some
of my professors don’t understand that. And, the last thing, I want to say that
we don’t really have a lot of math classes and that it is really necessary for
our career, maybe we need another semester or some extra classes of statistical,
in my case is almost urgent, because I don’t really know a lot about that.
I don’t know if any of my classes are not important, because
this is my third semester, but I am really sure that we need to land social
work to the reality, and we really need what I mention earlier.
The time is a problem in the curriculum too:(
